It's interesting to me, I'm not really a "book purist" when it comes to the films. For example, I didn't care at all that Peter Jackson dumped Tom Bombadil, I thought that was actually a good cut. But on an intellectual level, when I first heard he'd increased Arwen's screen time by quite a bit, I wasn't a fan. On an emotional level, however, I thought Liv Tyler did such a good job that it ended up being quite satisfying.
i LOVE lord of the rings. arwen is awesome. i live near liv tyler's mom and a few of my friends know her!
